the haze really hasn't cleared yet
it still seems as though it's hanging
in the air that surrounds me
and I'm still groping around for time

is time a haze that can't be measured by watches?
spoken in numbers of AM and PM that really can't
be told with any sort of accuracy
but that need to be felt with the wave of a hand?

why do we grope for time?
time isn't something that can be held
(not even with a digital watch)
we, as beings of time can be held, but not by
       arms of movement
only by the hands of seconds
held until the moment has passed
and until we have passed as well

and when we have passed
       from second to minute
              from minute to hour
those hands let us go
       into the arms
              of eternity

No need for clocks or time in eternity.

Sven .... My hat comes off to anyone who will tackle time. It may or may not be "the stream we go a fishin in", but it's good to inquire now and then. Thanks for sharing. Bob

A very interesting write of a word which
seems to control us, dictate what we do,
often how fast we go,  and so much more..

BRAVO!!! Oh Sven, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I too believe the best way to approiach time is not logically but rather just going about things our own way so we are not pushing upon time and rather it is our cushion while we enjoy lifes gifts! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, your wisdom always lights your words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

But there are moments when time seems to stand still and we are captured in the standing... to remember forever. *S*

I like this very much, Sven. *S*

Ah yes, the age old question of measuring time.

Wonderful.
