I’m so sorry that you’ve lost such a special friend Karen. I’m glad that at least he could be honest in his life, even if his family can’t. When will the world learn that we’re all people… human beings with hearts and souls…no matter how we live our lives?? I’m sure he’s found his piece of heaven now...in peace forever. Hugs to you Karen, a lovely tribute you’ve written for him. I’m sure he’d be honoured. Everything is possible in the game of life |

Thank you...I came back to add that I did not wish for sympathy here...I did this because I told him I would!!! grinning, he WANTED this posted on the internet--it was his final "finger" to his family, who remain ashamed of his homosexuality. So Rene', tipping a glass to ya my friend, and gawd I wish you were here...(he would SO love the fact that I am going to see Wayne Newton tonight!) |

Good for him…giving them the finger as his final wave goodbye!!! Roflmbo!!! I love it. I had a friend many years back who died of aids at the age of about 26, and his family always refused to admit his homosexuality. I’m sure he would have loved to have given this one finger salute too. May they be both be drinking a toast right to themselves right now, and saluting those who wouldn’t accept.
