Nan the censor sits Somewhere between These poems to be seen And the monitor screens With her scissors purpose poised Watching the Toerag stuff That will sizzle through The magic wires And light up Like welding shops The ho-hum forums And with a kindergarten Arts and crafts concept Of moral responsibility Snips out The rough talk The unpopular opinion Or anything with teeth Or sexual inuendo And renders A pattern of ideas Full of holes A doily For your mind.... Toe hi there, Mushy’s eldest daughter here This is an excellent piece of writing, I like this a whole lot. No one has ever cut holes in my writing, unless it’s my mum who says Krissy darling you really will have to write better if you want to catch up. We love each other really, I’m not sure where mum keeps it, but I do love her really. I'm sitting with my scissors perched Before the Passions screen, To see what scoundrel's in the lurch In case he gets obscene... I'll cut and paste him with my glue; I borrowed it from school.
