Once in a while the wind blows soft To help your dreams to soar aloft Life left behind by hearth and croft In only once in a while On winds of change the future's clear And nurtures gift is ever near I climb and to the future peer But only once in a while To soar above on eagle's wings And hear the wishing through their rings As rainbows beckon angel things If only once in a while To rise above without a doubt And echo back as earth gives shout To live and learn what hope's about Yet only one in a while For once in a while ere strength is gone There comes Gods grace to carry on If you can say thy will be done Much more than once in a while Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Keth darling sister of my heart and keeper of my souls song, as always you write with such skill and beauty I really found this excellent poem wonderful. The beauty of your words uplift a soul more than once in a while. Well done darling heart, exquisite writing. This poem contains some amazingly beautiful lines, the flow is utterly utterly divine, and I love it I truly do. Oh how I wish I could write like this, I can hear your heart and soul lifting onto angels wings, this is seriously good. Wonderful writing absolutely wonderful Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

I read the first verses thinking of how those "once in a while"s give us the strength for all the inbetweens... though sometimes it seems they're spaced entirely too far apart. *S* And then came your last verse with the source of strength. *S* This is lovely, Kethry. *S* |

Oh Keth, This is so excellent. The rhyme scheme, the images, the clincher at the end. A true poem. A wonder. Nan |
