We rose not just a country, but a world We cried not alone, but together We ralied in strenght as one We cannot be broken, for we are one world We will never forget the ones lost, We will never forget the love and strenght of a world We will never forget the strenght of a nation, a counrty the world They will never shake us any one They made a nation a world stronger They made us not just a nation under God They made us a WORLD under God. You are a good poet as soon as you try to reach others with your words. You are a great poet when those same words touch your heart first. "They made us not just a nation under God They made us a WORLD under God." So true!!! I encourage you to work on this poem, for as you indicated there is much more to say, and the stronger we all stay in our faith, the less can anything hold us in fear. You can help us do that. Love and hugs, Mom Street |

Wilfred my friend and fellow prestidigitator! This is a wonderful tribute to the closing.. I watched as many many others did today.. And the memories and tears flooded back. I appreciate this piece much. Very well done. ~Hugs, Nancy~ |

A very poignant post. Not only was today, Memorial day (observed on Monday) but it was also National day of Prayer. What could suit this better than the dedication above. Love, Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |

Thank you for the wonderful picture, and the thoughts and messages of the poem. I have always considered myself a world citizen. the internet has brought us closer together, and so has this tragic event. Now, if we can really find a way to live peacefully, as one people on this planet, perhaps we just might survive as a species. |
