Just once a year, the lilacs bloom
their sweet warm scent now fills my room
I can't resist bringing inside
they cheer my mood, 'tis undenied.

Tiny petals of varied hue
the nicest thing that spring can do
to fill the air with fragrance, thus
it is this city's only plus.

Very nice. I disagree, though, that the lilac's are your city's _only_ 'plus'!

(smiles) Awwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, lilacs are one of my favorite flowers, they are soooooooo pretty and they always smell so heavenly! (kiss on cheek) YAY!!! Yes, one of the best fragrances in the world... have three vases filled with them right now

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.
