something in your eyes tonight
have seen it for awhile
the change of expression

reminds me of yesterday
a few years a go perhaps
something there changed too

I didn't stay to see what it was
the highway called with offers
of eternal life and salvation

but it was just a highway
afterall what does cold stone know
other than curves and ends

but maybe now, it has learned something new

Very interesting perspective! I really enjoyed the theme of this. Sort of like "grass is not always greener" type of thing!

The fork in the road
take dirt
or blacktop...
either one
doesn't change the
fact that you left...

(sigh) All of life is indeed an endless road, twisting and turning serpentine, only leading us to more than just answers but dreams that are bound to be granted ahead! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, while it is the heart that matters most, I do believe the highway always holds some special purpose, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

DS

I think I have been on that highway...lets see, is it called Regret, or no Regret...can't remember, but I did leave pieces of my flat tire.  Enjoyed this different look through your eyes.

Never too old or too travelled to learn something new...  Curves can have their advantages.. Dips can tickle.. change of scenery can make you fresh.. Just don't blame the potholes..for all them brushes against legs.

Sincerely,
Reg

By the way, do you pick up hitch hikers?  I may need a ride.

the road takes a lot of work, but it's worth it.  After all it gets you from point A to point B!!  I guess it depends on when and where you want to get off.....and if!!!

you're in rare form DS~
