 and what roared louder in the summer of ’64… before the push come shove of adulthood before the roar of the Fab Four… what roared louder than crashing waves upon our shore or felt more ambitious than digging clams for scores.. what roared louder than hormones with itineraries… and all of life still didn’t scare me… but dreams in the ears of the young… that is what roared that day while still children… with plans… ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 29 May 2002 Photography: K.
