Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-05-29 10:25 PM

and what roared louder
in the summer of ’64…
before the push come shove
of adulthood
before the roar of the Fab Four…

what roared louder
than crashing waves upon our shore
or felt more ambitious
than digging clams for scores..

what roared louder
than hormones with itineraries…
and all of life still didn’t scare me…

but dreams in the ears
of the young…

that is what roared that day

while still children…
with plans…

(sigh) Oh Karilea, I know ever so much how you feel, right now I am going through this stage where I dream so so much and desire so many things and sometimes it can be so unbearable I find myself trampling! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I just love how you express things, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Hello Karilea

I just adored this piece of writing, so vidid were the images and how well I could relate.  The sketch accompanying your words was fabulous and I'm wondering if you sketched it?

Take care......Sue

Loved this!  It helps to remember those times and that age.
