I finally found the word I was searchig for, see this poem: /pip/Forum69/HTML/002612.html written for Nan's class THE FUNNEL Went to the movies with a bunch of kids Just after I got my license to drive My husband asked me to be carefull But I just told him to take a dive The movie was nice the kids enjoyed We headed back at eleven at night When suddenly this red light was flashing And stayed on shining ever so bright I knew I had to stop the car quickly And I knew the oil in there had gone I opened the hood like a true mechanic And that was the moment things went wrong I looked at the motor and thought by myself Where the hell do I put this oil in here I recognized this thing where you measure oil But the hole was too small I feared "I need a funnel" was my first thought But there were no houses around Just the office of the Water police And amazingly there a funnel I found They must have thought that I was an idiot And they didn't even offered to help me So I thought "Get Lost!" I can do it myself With this huge funnel I'll put the oil in see Now you may imagine how all this went Not good at all I can tell you right here But at last I got some oil in the damned car The kids? They got their first trauma I fear So after about this hour of cursing I brought the funnel back to these men I thanked them and wished them all a goodnight And I was very proud of meself back then We drove home wich took me half a hour And told my husband what I had done I never forget his awfull loud laughter And never again near this office I've gone And after this episode, I never forget where to put the oil in now  A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... ROTFLMAO!! This is pricelss, Titia. I can see you standing in the dark, pouring oil into that funnel into that incredibly tiny dipstick hole. But I have this feeling you might not be the only one who has ever attempted to do that. As for the kids trauma, it was probably a great learning opportunity for them. And did you make your husband some 'funnel' cakes for breakfast? |
