Take Your Pen Take your pen and write my name Across your heart in passions’ flame Feel my fire igniting you On silken lips taste my dew On this blank page draw my soul Mark in the lines that are whole Take from the page this pure thought To seek what your soul has sought Without doubt colour me in Paint my eyes in shades of sin The hint of promise you see Is only a glimpse of me Take your brush and paint my lips Stroke me with your fingertips Breathe in the sense of my touch Confess to the need of such Take your colour and shade me Let your eyes feast hungrily Lay down your resistance here Yield, you have nothing to fear Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |

Marsha, how many shades of love do I love this poem in? Let me count the ways. I love this poem yes I do it makes my heart to sing I love the words so soft and true it flies on starling wing I love the way it makes me sigh with comfort and with bliss I love the way it lift's me high as I feel the lover's kiss I love the way so many things are crowding in my brain I love the way this poem sings Again, again ,again I love the way it reaches out to touch my very soul I love your words in lover's rout that make me see the whole I love the metre and the rhyme it fills me up with bliss but most of all I love the time it recalls a lover's kiss Too many times a poets words will leave me sad and tart but your poems fly like birds they always warm my heart. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
