There is a sense of sadness In these solemn days, AS we would reflect back On this world's deadening ways. Of all who met tragedy Lives cut short of time, Fighting for their country Or as victims of cruel crime. There is a wake up call To whom would be free, That Freedom is not cheap Nor our precious Liberties. For the cherished way of life We appreciate, By others is maligned And thus such would violate. There is a sense of pride To think we are so blest, With something others lack Yet which we deem as the Best For which many sacrifice And give up their all, Not as mere casualites-- But by which we all stand tall! ##################### * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ##################### * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ##################### * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ##################### ############################### ############################### ############################### |

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I too join you in remembering all these heroes and veterans who sacrificed their lives for salvation of our freedom and so they can watch their families and children go on and live with hope! (sigh) This is sooooooo touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet David, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
