Tomorrow I will celebrate my third anniversary at Passions (I have a special poem ready for THAT). But today I wanted to pay tribute to some very special people. It has been my great pleasure to write and work alongside most these wonderful poets for three years. They make this place so wonderful. Please join me in thanking THEM for all they’ve done….(I’ll be posting several of these tributes throughout the day) Ron A monument to members He stands solid as Rushmore His poetry and prose are What gives this girl a crush more In this series of vignettes Goddesses of a fashion It’s only right to begin with The founder of poetic passion  Nan Goddess of Safe Harbors Teacher of truth Beacon of light Bring poetry’s ships Safely home at night Beckon all that land Upon passion’s beach Goddess of Harbor Within Passion’s reach  Kit Goddess of Peace and Harmony Peace and harmony is she Smiling down on the flowers Her gift of love for all to see Given freely for hours and hours Tender regard and honesty Describe this lady fair No one gives more of heart To prove the gift of care  *** Note: to see the full-page pictures: http://www.geocities.com/birthday_bash/page5.html |

I've read several of these and you've done youself proud. Congrats on the three years!! All of what I've read is very fitting. I've been here a couple of years myself but I can't remember the day I came on board. Because of work I leave for periods of time so sometimes I'm travelling behind in the news dept but I have to say this is an absolutely delightful place to hang out! Great read! |
