The Garden of my Heart

In the garden of my heart
Is a place I’ve set apart?
A place of fantasies appeal
A place that I could pray and kneel

Where flowers grow in bright of sun
And I can play in simple fun
Grow and fly the white of dove
Write scenarios of love.

Do everything I cannot do
Shed the limits of overdo
Build an Arc with worlds inside
Sail the oceans and the tides.

A place of magic in a well
A sip of which would dispel
All the bindings of my mind
With fluid thoughts of super kind

In the garden of my heart
Where you, are the greatest part.

From the syrup of your words
is the chirrup of small bird
taking flight beneath your sky
but raising hope way up high

singing praises of our Sy

JM,
I'd fly with you o'er ocean swells
Stop and collect cockle shells.
Sit among old daffodils.
Listen to the whipporwills.
And Randy just sits there and nods.
Love Ya

Hi Seymour!

I wish to re-interate what was said by a previous commentor to your poem, re-emphasizing how, ~sweet~ this poem reads. It is as you elude to throughout the piece, a writing from the ~heart~!

Spirited Shalom,

See me hiding behind the tree,
Won't you come and play with me?
We'll share Sy's garden of fantasy,
Where there's always room for three!

How pretty my friend (and my print is framed and it looks awesome) thank you!

Seymour darling boy, hi there darling heart, I’ve not been on site at all today except to drop off a dreary little poem. And it wasn’t supposed to be dreary at all, it just came out that way.

However if I had any choice I would have snuggled down beside the wise and poetic master and picked the flowers of beauty that grow in your garden of delight. This as you very well know is utterly utterly splendiferous. I love it as I always do. Can’t you migrate here on the wings of soul and feed me lines of delight. Mmmm? I’m sure Isabelle wouldn’t mind loaning you to me for a season or two, I’d return you, well eventually I would.

You know I utterly utterly love this poem and since there’s no sign of you sighing on the wings of hope I’ll keep this beauty instead. Ciao and if you should find your mind flitting over to me, I’ll leave the light on

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Seymour darling boy, my light will be the one that twinkles in a Morse code way spelling out Marsha is here.

And I’ve grown accustomed to bathing in beauty, so you simply have to keep it up thank you You know you simply can't help letting your soul's ink flow over my soul

The greatest thing about such a garden is that it can grow and bloom and bring beauty to anywhere... even if your windows look out on concrete parking lots instead of carefully tended plants. *S* I like this very much, Seymour... it takes a special heart to harbor such beauty. *S*
