Here I sit, now and forever
Upon my heart, your presence a lever
It soars up high, when you are near
A joy to behold, to have you here
Excited and eager, to be at your side
It does cry, when you do hide
Your absence, doth make it fall
Disregarded, as a lost child's doll
Twisted and warped, lost for the next
Bound tightly, my heart is hexed
Of these shackles, when will I be free
perchance when beyond you I can see

Vent and let it out...then re-read

Yes,  perchance when beyond you can see.

I too thought the last two lines summed up
the thought very well..
