Sweet Surrender

When I look into your eyes
Those depth filled orbs
Of nights sigh
I see stars, shooting into
Spiralling wonder
I sink into their unspoken
Dreaming grace
Those whispering songs
Which tantalise
And tempt me into
Playing your game of
Sweet surrender

When I breathe in your breath
That gift of honeyed moan
Of sighing softness
That taste of sweet delight
That aches within a
Heartbeat a pulse throbbing
Hammering at the door
Of this need
This I must touch the taste
And taste the touch
Of surrenders reward

When I drown in your mouth
Gasping for air to
Ease the burning
And all consuming need
Wanting this but needing
So much more than just
The heat of your fire
I desire the flames
To leap within your
Eyes too
For you to know
All about the want of
Drowning in glorious
Surrender of soul

So taste the touch of
My heart and hear
The sound of my
Willing want of
Being with you
In sweet surrender

Krissy

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

Krissy,  this is simply awesome poetry...

The passion and yearning flow freely within
the lines to the final statement which so
easily leaves the reader in awe....

Krissy what a lovely, longing and romantic poem done with such elegance and grace.  I loved this one, and we needed some romance around here for a chance.

SweetKrissyGal~
It's said that tender hearts think alike ...
when I saw your title ... I was amazed, as I'd just finished one with the same title ... and was searching for a graphic for it .... Honest Injun !

I think I'll save it for a rainy day ...

I LOVE YOUR PIECE !!
It is soooooo tenderly written with the sincerity I've come to know from you~

Ooohhhhhhh, I cannot wait until September !!!
What fun we will all have together !

You delivered your meanings very vividly and
structures your paragraphs very well, I had
to read it 4 times to fully appreciate the
beauty in your heart, and now I see you are
a very compassionate person.

Staring into the sun just makes you blind to what beauty actually exists in the sky.

~raising the white flag~

what a lovely idea for a love poem, Kriss.
Your poetry, serious or softly romantic,
is always enchanting, always alluring.

It is a pleasure to surrender to them.
your friend, Jeff
