First rose of spring, to thee I sing, Thou art the jewel of nature’s bring, Within thy petals secrets borne, Protected by thy piercing thorn, Beauteous bloom from heaven sent, Perfuming with thy fragrant scent. From frailest bud thy wonderous form, Erupts in blaze to Helios’ warm, Red velvet petals in satin bouquet Gem of the gods on earthly display. Thou art the breath of springtime dawn, The splendor of angelic spawn, God above on us bestows, Perfection of springtime’s first rose. |

Wonderful job. I can just picture a rose covered in morning dew, waiting to bloom in the sun. Great write. Don't hold back the words you really mean. |

I'm so glad when your garden and your verse bloom... |

Tim There is nothing prettier then a garden rose, unless it's your poetry. |
