Like a fortress wall your face is before me Battles from days past written on it to see Your eyes like a breach behind the mask But closed gates great me when I ask Lightning cracks the sky But still you stand, stoic and high Silence like arrows rain down Parlay is met with naught but a frown Catapults, towers, ladders and more Tears like oil in response do pour Defenses are tight, inside you hide Defeated before you, my hands are tied Your hand around my throat like a demon's claw Unable to conquer, inevitable I withdraw Defeated, destroyed, humble I stand The skies are dark, I hold out my hand -- |

I certainly hope someone lets down the drawbridge for you soon. This one sounds heartbreaking. Great imagery I loved this one. Love, Light and Peace, Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |
