Takes all my strength to feel my will. I know not when the strain will leave. Each passing day each morn that shines allows a chance, some small reprieve. Sometimes I think, those thoughts of ill, are due to failures past, to face. The heaviness, in wait of mind takes all my strength each step I pace. The toll it takes, no one can know, but, I who dreams of yesterday when I could touch and feel the real, the warmth of love to fade my gray. If I could reach, could touch you now I'm sure with hands we each could lift the weight of knowing, a want renewed, with all my strength I'd share this gift. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
