Sometimes sun baked Cracks form as I dry negated In the heat of your words No Spring refresh of shower Replenishing Edges crumble As your step of stare Walks across my mind Leaving dust behind my eyes That clouds in billows What I thought was sky Little grows In drought felt hearts But sometimes sun baked The cracks do. |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Ron, I have beared this kind of heart for so very long so I know how it feels, just as right now I'm yearning for the rain to fall and end this drought in Colorado! (sigh) This is very powerfully heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! CatHair~ What an awesome use of metaphor... In drought felt hearts But sometimes sun baked The cracks do." That's sooooo sad Cry those tears let down the rain fill the cracks with water wash out all that pain I enjoyed reading, even though the images made me sad! *hugs* ~Krista Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |
