It's funny how the rain..... can pull at your heartstrings, Just the way he used to, And still does..from time to time.. It's amazing how the nightime..... can hold you just as harshly, As his hands used to feel, After loving someone else. It's indignified to think...... That all to often you wonder, What might have been, depite everything that was... Everything that ate at you..... And stole your beauty everytime....... You lost yourself in those eyes agian.. It's maliciuos to think... How I wanted to hurt you so, Just to prove that you could feel, Depite how numb you displayed yourself to be. It's distracting to glance... back at my youth, Pondering upon... The guilt I should feel. It's unjustly so...... That tommorow will come, Regardless of the rain, Or the way I force myself to think. It's wonderful how the cold........ Wraps itself around me, Taking me in so lovingly, The way you never did.. Storms may come...and go about there way... But every night caresses the scares that you gave, And I wake up a better person...... than I ever let you make me. |

Lots of twists and turns of emotion well written into this piece. Some wonderful descriptive linnes describing the hurt and also the reslove from reflecting....I really enjoyed this piece! |
