Just to be held,
Is this too much;
A face to be cradeled,
& eyes to touch;
Lips to taste,
A hand to set free;
Let me go,
Then dream of me.

Tell me there was a time-
When we were written in the stars...
Tell me our time was timless-
& that our hearts were intertwined

Catch your breath,
To open your eyes;
& listen to my heart,
That your words have despised;
Graze my lips,
While You walk with me;
Remember that place,
Which will forever be;

Tell me there was a time-
When we were written in the stars...
Tell me our time was timless-
& that our hearts were intertwined

This sounds....musical.  "written in the stars".  I like that much.  Peace to you!

Lost in the twilight impending
sunset never born an entity trapped
by the very timeless stars you walk beneath
gazing skyward I am reminded only of all that
became disbelief in stunning reds and blues
blinded by that which was I reel only to know
all and ever are forever yet bleed the sky
crimson therein knowing such never change
only sightless life in memories of what should be the simplest yet always most difficult wandering to impossible dreams
in this corporeal trap we agree to call real
such is reality under a blood red sky so is
tomorrow and its legacy to dream only of that
which might should was the only reality

May your thoughtways lead to azure skies
Many thanks for the insight rest to know
somethings never die

Good luck
and of course merci for the sharing

Welcome to this magical land where words flow in every possible direction, all around the seas. I enjoyed this poem.

"A face to be cradeled,
& eyes to touch;
Lips to taste,
A hand to set free;
Let me go,
Then dream of me."

I especially liked that part.
