"Your Picture" © 2001 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1: I got your picture hanging on my wall I couldn't help but take a look 'Cause I took that picture in your birthday Reminds me when times were good All those words lost in empty days All those sweet, sweet dreams now erased Always... Chorus: Your picture (pause) Speaks a thousand words - That I was wrong in believin' Those rumours were true That I left you over something (pause) You didn't do Your picture (pause) Speaks a thousand words Verse 1: I sit all alone wrapped up in sadness And I feel my eyes drip in pain looking on the memories past There's no shelter from the rain Never knew I'd be without you Never knew I could feel so blue Inside... Re-Chorus: Bridge: I'm pushing my love to the fullest 'Cause I just gotta have you back I have carry too much shame to call It couldn't be as simple as that Times is starting to run out for good Wish I hadn't missunderstood Verse 3: I guess I never really trusted you And that is why we are apart I didn't believe you 'cause I kept my Darkest secrets from your heart But it never occured to me That I would be to blind to see Reason... Re-Chorus: Tag: I got your picture hanging on my wall... [This message has been edited by Hallucination (05-18-2002 11:12 PM).] |

It hurts when all that's left is a picture. A well done song of emotions, Brian. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (05-19-2002 03:01 AM).] |
