Little Things

Although I seem a busy bee
I sail upon a golden sea.
My gardens full of yellow bloom
With only nectar to exhume

By that I mean I fly a lot
To gather things, don’t ask me what.
Just little things you might pass by
But little things that catch my eye

It’s these the fill my treasure chest
It’s little things that serve me best.
They bridge the passage of my goal
They are the essence of my soul.

The are the key to savoir faire
They open doors to everywhere.
They’re the candles flickering bright
And sometimes they’re the only light.

So always notice little things
It’s little things that make for kings.

I see the penny, pick it up
as little things fill my cup
I count the dust motes in the air
for something wondrous happens there

I find my pleasure in reading you
every day you fill my view
the little words that you speak
are the treasures that I seek...

Good morning Tink,
Where shall we fly today. Meet me in our garden and I'll cut you a bouquet. Randy would love you on his back. Just for a spin around the track. And then we can have some raspberry tea. Randy and you and me.

(smiles) Awwwwww, I too thought of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan reading this, sweet friend, that is one of my favorite movies of all-time and that movie taught me that the spirit of the child is always in us no matter how much we grow up! (big huggsssss) May we always find true beauty and smiles in the simplest things of life, sweet friend, this is fabulous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sey, the little things you leave for us are wonderful, and I thank you.  Ya know, I have this favorite saying that this poem reminded me of.....
"The best things in life are free, sometimes we just don't recognize them."

This is great, thank you Sey....

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)

When I moved, I unpacked the necessities and then shoved the rest of the boxes into a closet and tried to ignore them. *S* But this weekend, I missed my "treasures" enough to start dealing with their placement in a new home... and was convinced I had collected far too many "little things." *G* But then I read this delightful poem... and know that as soon as my aggravation fades (and the bruises on my thumb from hitting IT with the hammer! LOL) I'll take great comfort from them. *S* Meanwhile, I'll appreciate this work of art you've penned. *S* It's beautiful, Seymour. *S*

Suthern,
All the luck in the world with your move. And always remember you are dear to me.
