What is this avoidance now,
Is there something your not telling me?
Did she leave her imprints on your heart,
And is that where they should be?

For mine caress your very soul,
Hot to touch like fire,
I place myself inside your mind,
And I grow all to tired.

Frustrating games of give and take,
Ignorance and confusion,
Self inflicted wonders of what,
And challenged self dilusion.

Tell me how you stay here,
Inside a mind so cold,
Nice to visit here just once,
But in time would grow old.

What exactley do you do here,
When I am not around,
Take the pain and move it so,
It doesnt scream as loud?

Who is it that you want to be,
Becuase its not yourself,
My little trip has plagued me so,
And now I wish you well.

I fear that I must leave you here,
To fend these demons now,
To keep them here oh so safe,
Will surely break you down.

So as I travel backwards,
To my own state of mind,
I look back to see you,
Stand agianst the test of time.

And if one day you make it,
Come and find me here,
Becuase even you can understand,
I know not what I fear...............

ambermize darling heart this is seriously excellent writing, the flow of this is perfect, the internal pace and the construction cannot be bettered. This is a delight to read, In this style you excel beautifully portrayed view of minds scarred and unknown pain. I love this one darling absolutely love it

Thanks to everybody...must say this is one poem, I kept hiding inside for a long time, Guess you brought it out in me.....only here these miracles happen
