Fathers have a special bond reach to children one after one, sons and daughters are soon raised grown to adults, we are oft amazed tis delight to see fine values passed comes a moment we wished would...last the music of raport between generations spread on the cake of social elation Music falters when souls pass from view but nights soon pass, followed by morning dew; we wish that good times would last that the music continue. I remember your poem about your daughter she must have had a wonderful father; you witnessed delight in raising her the road we travel is lined with spurs. to daughters there is a special bond fathers want children to stand up strong difficult times arise and so must we keep courage and rest in harmony. Keep fond thoughts of her as she would like let a mental candle shine into nights let her memory continue to inspire, of fathers and their daughters. Larry, no need to thank, being an uncle helps me see how a father thinks and feels You be well. Sandra, Looks like you find thoughtful words Nancy, glad you understand me,am not looking for any pat on the back, I am not a father but have been losing dear relatives and friends too along the way...let's you understand this mystery. I love the idea of the mental candle, Martin. Tomorrow is the 3rd annivrsary of my first husband's death and I am going to light a mental candle for him. This is a beautiful poem, you wrote for Larry. ~ hugs and tears Lyra |

Lyra, my condolences for your loss too, we all lose and gain in the same time I think. Martie and Dave thanks for sharing Diamond, these are painful thoughts, but sometimes one must put them down. |
