Laundering

Great billowing sails
Wrap me up in the white arms
Of sheets hung to dry

Rainbow of colors
Vivid proof some things do not
Come out in the wash

The line weighted down
Two young boys play hide and seek
Between the shirts and jeans

(smiles) Awwwww, this is sooooo cute, sweet friend, I remember when I was very little and I used to play hide-and-seek behind mailboxes and trees in my neighborhood! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ruth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I love the smell of sheets dried in the sun! And remember playing in the laundry as it hung on the line in my mom's backyard. Thanks for a lovely trip down memory lane.

Ms. Hoot Owl was quite ecstatic
About her brand new automatic
Filled it up near to the brim
Slipped on soap and fell right in

She was really on the go
Jerking wildly to and fro
Wet and gurgling, rushing flowing
Shirts and shorts all to and frowing

There among the suds and bubbles
She reflected on her troubles
Considered that she'd never been so
Pushed around so much by Rinso

So then and there she promptly planned
To change and use a gentler brand
Because the water was too hot
She'd change to Cold Power, like or not

While Ms. Hoot Owl was cogitating
With all her bits and boobs vibrating
Arms and legs and dirty socks
tangled up in soapy knots
Her inside organs disarranged
Quite suddenly the cycle changed

While Ms. Hoot Owl was all a-whirl
Indeed a very home spun girl
Spun and sprayed to make her whiter
In places that did not excite her
And areas that had attention
She doesn't even want to mention

So Ms. Hoot Owl is quite convinced
That to be spun and deeply rinsed
Not once but twice will quite suffice
To keep her undies looking nice
But before they go to wash
She thinks she'd rather take them off!

I like this.  It's short, simple, and sweet.  That's a skill I definitely lack in my writing!  :^)

Hoot....

when we played in the sheets drying...always
loved the feel and the fragrance....
