Within the fade of morning dream
as sleep surrenders to the morn
a sound whispering, not a scream
to pause the beat of one heart torn

What of this breeze of soft in voice
that flutters heart and lids of eyes
when love is left and not of choice
and sorrow brings heartfelt sighs

As grasses green now fade the crush
of passions once lying in taste
when bodies squirming felt the rush
of fires in glow of morning’s haste

The rise of sun upon the moon
retires the lawn as does the heart
when stars once shine now soon
feels love’s wishes tearing apart

Dampness of the kisses given
now dry as lips moistened then split
as whisper’s breeze whence once driven
returns a sagging soul to sit

Magnus darling boy, you know there’s a place within each of us, and perhaps because we write it is closer to the surface, but it’s in us all, that place where dreams merge with images of what might have beens and possibly. This is the place that your writing takes me too. This is the place of hearts sighs and souls ache, where shadows whisper secrets and pain throbs in echo.

What I’m trying to say darling boy is your writing carries me to the place of inspiration where I find the words I need to write my soul. I love this absolutely divinely written art form. Your writing is utterly utterly perfect and I love it utterly

Love and warm stuff

KJ....thank you....My first inclination
was that the poem wsn't long enough...
I still sort of feel that...   And I was
having some problem with the split and sit
rhyme....  really wanted sit to be something
else....but my desire was a figure that was
very saddened and lost....awaiting something
that might never return...hence the nevermore part.....  THANK YOU for your
reply/comment...

Beneath the leaves of Autumn's crown
Drift silently and settle down
In falls of miles in azure eyes
From heights profound in love's demise

That must have been one beautiful summit my friend. ThisDiamond

Mushy, dearest darling girl....mayhaps I have
managed to take you down a path of feelings
that comes to all of us at one time or the
other....

You have been writing a lot of feelings
lately....perhaps I can inspire a few more..

If so....I will certainly be very very
pleased...
