I’m Within You

When the night calls you must go
Feel me inside I make your blood flow
It’s my spirit calling passions tide
I’m within there’s no place to hide
I’m the need consuming you in the night
Draining your soul so you wish for light
A creature of night here my power is best
In days light this burning take a rest

Just before you close your eyes
Reach out I’m there in your sighs
Every breath you take carries me to you
Feel me there as I flow all through
I’m there the pulse in your heart
In this we can never be apart
My spirit tingles I’m within you
A part of everything you say or do

When you lay down to dream through night
My essence descends captivating delight
My spirit swirls bringing desire
Flooding through like liquid fire
No escape from the thought of me
I’m entwined in your heart’s memory
I’m the dream you dream every night
There I wait until the fading of light
