Part healed the scares within us, from the hidden hurts of life
Ugly scares; each one a wound as cut by blunted knife

Not healing due to let up of a day which knows not change
The one inside feels pressures, as the outer turns to strange

Muffled by an inner sense that sees in just one way
Hiding in the comfort zone, afraid to sway the day

But wounds they just keep pounding, with their medicines too weak
The cure being courage and the guts to freely speak

But nothing, it is changing and the torture looms again
The one within keeps crying, with the questions asking when?

Too worried of the future, of what could turn and be
A lifetime seeming wasted with a heart that isn’t free

Unprepared, untrusting while the wounds still bit the soul
A miracle one needing and a will to turn them whole

To take the chance on fate itself and what could lie ahead
Instead of living just on dreams, that live inside our head

Inner mass confusion, of stress and living ways
Another morn has risen, what brings the coming days????
