Recording time unravels to do with as you will and how you choose to spend nickel's and dimes that are not for the taking idle hours in a day passing too quickly without words unheard prepaid by the minute without a connection recording old messages that have nothing to say except that your call is important kept in the order it was received gone dead at the end of the line. I HATE COMPUTERS.......ROTFL....I know what you mean though, it can be annoying to make that call, spend time, and go thur minutes of gross music and animated voices..just to be more annoyed, I get so frustrated--sometimes I just hang up toooooo..hugsssss you..... Thanks for laughing with me Lauren! The electronic age leaves something to be desired, I've no patience when left on hold! I want the real thing or nothing at all, not to say I don't have another nickle to spend, it's my time that ends up costing me. LOL~ |

I still remember the days when you could call a business and actually get a human being to answer the phone... I guess that must make me an old person... but it sure was nicer to talk to a person than a machine... now even the telemarketers are machines, but I guess that makes it easier to hang up on them.... Cute poem, Lori...and I love your new pic. ~automated hugs Lyra |

prepaid by the minute without a connection recording old messages that have nothing to say Just whose life do they make easier? I'm always so surprised when calling a business to have a real person answer...that it takes me a second to remember why I called! Very cool, light write. |

Hey Lyra~ Thanks for reading, we're not old, we're part of the new age! It's a great time to be alive since we can hang up any time we want. Hugs to you and thank you for your sweet reply. Duncan~ The message kind of loses something when you're forever pushing buttons! Only to get where you want to be, and they tell you that all their operators are busy and to try again later. If that doesn't fry my behind!! Thanks for reading~ |

Oh yes, I understand completely. "Thank you for calling the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Press 0 to speak with an agent." (presses 0) "All our agents are busy right now. Please stay on the line and they will get to you in the order the call was received. Please have yr driver's license and registration information available." (waits 10 minutes) (suddenly, the phone disconnects!) NOOOOOOO! She said burn ... together. -TON [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (05-14-2002 01:01 PM).] |

It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE ...hahaha ....I know who the customer is but lost to its service ... ... and what is this "please hold" ... after the up-teenth time of hearing that all I want to do is let something go ... I like the thought! |
