First star till morning he whispered
Then.....onward to the Milky Way
I woke up, smiled and remembered
A dream, just a dream, I would say.

Where is this land within my dreams
that comes on a breeze in the night
where waterfalls fall to clear streams
in mountains high of a dream’s sight

As maidens dance, laugh and play
among the ferns and evergreens
while unicorns prance in display
on dancing hooves in shining sheen

Birds warbling a high flying song
as distant sun now sets to moon
Starlit skies twinkle the night long
as elves play a harmonic tune

Dreams take me to the make believe
to swim the falls of crystal streams
till morning’s star tugs on a sleeve
while fairies fly and night owl screams

I have so many favourite poems of yours but this would have to come close to being the best. What a wonderful journey I made through your dreams and visions as I found myself floating on air. This was an exceptional piece of writing!

I hope you know I'm keeping this! The whole poem is wonderful, but I had to highlight this one part. It's exquisite, dreamy stuff!Thanks, as I'm sure you wrote this one just for me.

Magnus darling boy, TRULY PERFECTION I love this darling boy, it’s utterly utterly fabulous. Your writing is always special, sometime it is especially so, and this is an absolute beauty. The light within streams out to caress the eye and heart of the reader. Truly this is one of your best.

A lovely poem is sometimes born in the same place dreams are born. I think this is true of this one. Beautiful!
