Mushy’s Girls Are Everywhere Around and through the forums we play Tag you’re it and then we speed away My footsteps my pen strokes on the page This is my favourite, oh please act your age But then with a smile and a happy song We’re off once more with the happy throng Racing here and then we’re racing there Mushy’s girls are simply everywhere First Krissy pops her head around the door Claps delightedly please give me more And I slip in to release a smile or three Then Emma arrives with it’s only me Krissy blows kisses and leaves her mark Her signature scrawled across Passions park Emma hasn’t yet really begun to roam And I, well PIP’s is my home sweet home Krissy’s footsteps are almost famous now Come in my Krissy and take your bow Now Emma is the new kid on the page Over this poet and that she’ll likely rage I don’t know how long she’ll be here Emma hasn’t much inclination to persevere As for me I will never really depart For on the pages of PIP’s lies my heart Marsha For those of you who’ll ask there aren’t any more daughters I have a son who’s the middle child, he doesn’t write anything at all, not even notes To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
