Listening to every heart

A Soddy Morn, May 12, 1867

Let us come here, minds to ponder
On the reason of your wander
Far and away you must now go
But ‘tis that I would hold you so

Let us lay in heaven’s cool grass
To watch the blue, let time to pass
While the cottonwood sings its sigh
And we shall hold each by and bye

I would have no words but for you
Had you not come into my view
But come you did, and set like seed
To give me reason, sate my need

So take my heart, this gift from you
Upon return, I’ll be yours true
And if danger hinders your tracks
My songs on wind shall call you back

For I would share life’s waterfall
If you but beckon to my call

Beside the fall of water pure
where love once found now does endure
as crystal drops do fall with glee
upon the boundless expanse free

Beautiful Poem Karilea...

my day starts sunnier with soddy
lovely indeed!!

When your own emptiness is all thats getting through
There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking...
I passed that point long ago
