You are poet. You are the colors of sun selected through the shade. You are slow motioned freeze frames of memory. You are the taste of words in strawberry seeds. There is history in your eyes, awaiting discovery. You sing out summer like a church bell squall. And surprise me with winter too soon at times. A frost on your lips and a hand on the hips, toe tapping. Now. Open to the storm. Thunder me your raincloud verse. As I watch lightning, trying to catch YOU--in a bottle. Cracks a tree in half, the force of your unassuming hands and acrid burn becoming beauty, apparent in your word... We weep softly, dry willow, on our imagined shores. Cursing sand for its fluidity. You are poet, my hurt. Weep no more. Look what ICQ hath wrought. |

Glad you all liked our rainstorm ways. My favorite line is S'en's, about cursing the sand for its fluidity. Damn she's good. She said burn ... together. |

I'm not exactly sure why I picked strawberry rather than raspberry. Probably 'cause of the upcoming strawberry festival in Oxnard. I'd like a strawberry now. She said burn ... together. |
