I slept...I saw
the dreams of God
I wept in awe--
silent applause...

Sanctuary'd
Holy ground--
a silent guide
spoke word profound.

shelves and shelves
of stories stood
on planks of light
on feet of wood
whispering
regret of "should"
they beckoned me--
a poor man's food.

I reached for book
to be my wine,
and as I reached
I noticed spine--
these books were meant
to stay on shelf.
Inside the titles?
Presence dwelled.

Each story was
a journey'd soul.
Each book, mythology
of old...
I tried to pull
a book to read--
the effort
interjected ME
into the spell
of book in bind.
I let them be.
I left me blind.

Each spine of book
a colored dot
that colored pictures
I'd forgot.
From the floor
unto the top--
a picture much
too big to stop...

I knew I could not understand
the beauty of an Art so grand.
So I just write silently
this book that is eternity.

Serenity, this is so well written!!!!!

"shelves and shelves
of stories stood
on planks of light
on feet of wood"

Some stories told
so far and wide
Some are shelved
in shelves so high

Each life is a story, and you've just added another wonderful page to your book.

Serenity darling girl again your writing is outstandingly beautiful in its form it’s utterly utterly breathtaking in its beauty. Your heart truly speaks of wonder in this, I love it utterly utterly. Sometimes I swear you write with starlight, this is one of those times

Perfect darling heart utterly utterly perfect. And yes I love it utterly

Love and warm stuff

but i'm not, magnus

your imagery is very vivid here, and it carries a deeply hidden but haunting melancholy behind it. this is really well written, even more so than your usual (which is already quite impressive.)

bravo!

Much gratitude...and this was inspired by one of those startling dreams--it's stayed with me, and I wish I could have it again.
But the scene reminded me a bit of Passions, with every poet a book unto themselves--so I wrote this one for Ron...and for all of you, for sharing so graciously your talent and stories. so...THANKS FORUM!

It's a special place of dreams here.
