I never can admit, Just how hard this day will be, I never will regret, That you're not missing me. I never can accept, That this thing is really done, That your no longer what I need, And to you, I am no one. Today I'll make a promise, One I intend to keep, To let these tears disappear, Somehow while I sleep. To hold my son so close this time, And never let you break his heart, Daddy should be forever, But my family fell apart. The ignorance is breathing, Of why I stayed so long, I hurt myself along the way, Knowing I was wrong. I never should allow, Time to just stand still, Becuase a mother is forever, Regardless of how, you make me feel. My love here is endless, For the son that we created, His life is now mine to mold, And is much anticipated............. |

This poem speaks volumes, a mother is an important part in a childs life, and you show that message very strongly here. It is truely sad that some fathers don't see the importance of a loving family to a child. Great expression here, thanks for sharing here with us. |
