I've waited long but here they are
So I'll present to you
The last lambs born into my flock
And again I'll name them after you

When I came on the pasture this morn
Melissa was the first I saw
Born this night, she's a happy gal
All black from head to paw

And then a little further away
There was Kethry on the right
And her sister Serenity on left
Oh my gosh, what a pretty sight

Kethry is not black, but a special color, just like her Mom, except for the white on the nose.
This color is called Badgerface, for it has the same pattern of a badger's face with the black stripes from eyes to horns. Their belly stays pitch black while their fleece turns white.

A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess...

Hurray the lambs are out the votes are in
One is called Kethry, that means I win.
Beautiful verse.

YAY! They are adorable!
And now, we wait to read what poetic verses they may be hiding underneath all that wool.

Well this unbiased honeybee likes that lil' lamb named 'Melissa' the best

This is awesome, Titia, thank you!

Take care,
Melissa (the other one!)

You just sheer these right?  Please tell me they are all for wool right?  If not, don't tell me okay they are too cute.

When I call Kethry muttonhead, is it official now? and a sheep named after a honeybee? and a cajun lamb? LOL!

This is wonderful, titia! A fine tribute to three wonderful ladies...

How's Balladeer doing?
