I could ease into you, your words
sandwiching me in their tenderness.
Layers of me enticing you to open
to the art of wishful thinking.
The intimacy of your touch, there
where addictions can begin,
where feelings cannot be disguised,
where your eyes say it all,
quilling me to your hold.
To linger just long enough
to breathe you in, I must confess
would fill my empty, if only ...
For a moment of you
is a lifetime in remembrance.

For a second I read "Fill my empty" as "Fill me empty." Which says much more about me than you. And the ending stanza rings like church bells. Big-time enjoyed.

I like the fact that you had to edit that message. And yeh, it is fun to be silly every once in a while. And it doesn't get much sillier than Black Squirrel of the Apocalypse. (bsquirrel)
