Some How Your smile is as intoxicating as the laugh of a child Your eyes twinkle like the stars on a dark night Being in your presence is sheer ecstasy and utter delight The touch of your hand I mine Arouses strange feelings in my mind With lips sweeter than any wine The thoughts of a kiss nearly blows my mind A single kiss would be too much to bare But to get one would make me feel like a millionaire Thoughts of you are what dreams are made of Whether it be timeless daydreams Or steamy nighttime dreams If I knew then what I know now I would hold you somehow and gently caress your tired brow I would dry your tears and calm your fears If I knew then what I know now Let you go I would never do, Your name upon my heart I would tattoo If I knew then what I know now I would not have let you go I would have held on to you somehow If I knew then what I know now You would be in my arms and I in yours As our hearts heaven soared Only if I had known what I know now © alan 5/9/02 |
