Repost: Wayward Winds The winds blow fine and salty fresh Lay films of brine upon my flesh. Skies are blue where stars are found and My spirit soars horizon bound. The ship cuts water spume and froth, And I stand groom to all the broth. I feel so free that I could cry, Only wind, water, ship and I. The days are bright, the nights a sight, Speaks magic to me day or night. This gifted freedoms wayward bend, Is the voyeur mist I transcend. The raw and crude set my mood Control broods my only food. The ore and essence of my goal It opens the door to my soul. I sail by skill and will the sea and Laugh and cry with the powers that be. |

Seymour my dearest friend this is utterly utterly wonderful. The feel of the sea spray the taste of the salt on my lips and you steering the ship across oceans of dreams onto morning sunrises that paint the sky in honeyed pinks and glittering gold’s. What more could I ask for darling boy? Nothing this is utterly perfect and of course I utterly utterly love it. As ever you thread the day with beads of wonder and leave it lying there for me to find. I was rather busy this morning but there is always time to drop in and adorn my soul with a Seymour delight. Thank you my dearest friend Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

This reminds me of "The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner"... except that I enjoy it more. *S* Of course, I had to memorize Rhyme in high school... my teacher must have been a sadist to not choose a shorter poem. LOL And I'm being SUCH a good girl to not quote parts of it to you... I know I wouldn't forget nearly as much if there wasn't so much useless info hanging around in my head! LOL I like this very much, Seymour... ROFG @ Toe's response! LOL |
