Hail storms Soft fallen as the snow On the verdure mosses Given now to spring's ways Sated on the earthen kilns Rises in ghostly mists cleansed Heaven sent in nature's vertical spirals Earth to heaven to earth Suddenly! Hail storm's pelting power Pounds the asphalt pavements And from their shelters Wide-eyed children wow "You see the size of that”? |

Hi Joe...so good to see you posting here again. I still love hail..I get the wide eyed child jumping all over when I see it. Loved the imagery you used, and then the human side of children..well done! |

(giggles in delight) Oh Joe, this is sooooo cute, sweet friend, when I was a little boy I too was always suprised when I saw the hail fall and it too made me leap out of my seat! (big hugggssssss) This is a wonderful natural poem, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joe, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Most excellent! I really enjoyed this read. I, too, love hailstorms and have been known to gather and measure them. (AFTER they stop pounding down, of course. It only took once for me to learn that hehehe) ...and her crown was formed by the ice in her eyes |
