Now the book
has turned
to heavy
there is
no easy
way to read--
it splits the spine
to turn a page
there is no easy way to bleed...

Now the chapters
sing together
lost
inside
the last sentence...
READ...the language
of forever
turn the page
of one man spent.

It's funny -strange how I didn't think of my dad for this challenge..I guess I still don't see him as having been old...

BRAVO!!! Wow, this is powerful, sweet friend, yes, it's as if the spine of the book is the gist of all life and supports every chapter we write including those of lost memories that are dog-eared and charred and many clear happy ones! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Popping in to express my appreciation. The different styles and thoughts on this particular challenge have touched my heart. I will keep all of the poems in response in my library, and in my heart. And? It is Mother's Day Sunday. If it's still an option for you? Go get a hug. You will never regret a hug. Weepy thank yous. Sigh. (I know. I'm so ridiculous sometimes. I don't think it's the hormones this time either. *sniff* )
