You came to me disturbing my peace when I wasn't looking, unexpectedly. Rising through the air stirring in the breeze you lifted me to higher ground to catch a star inside my hands. Then you heard my every wish in sleepy hollowed whispers you listened to my prayers and knelt beside my bed. You laid my head upon the clouds covered in soft cotton billowing across the sky in dreams that you make up. Like an angel of the night cascading from the sky spreading with her wings you taught me how to fly. Then you stepped into my mind and cast your spell upon my eyes you took me to the heavens and led me past the gate. [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (05-08-2002 02:13 AM).] |

lori, this is so soft and beautiful...i felt like i was floating when i read this...you have such a way with words that really captures your readers with avid interest! this is a superb write...my favorite line is, "You laid my head upon the clouds covered in soft cotton billowing across the sky in dreams that you make up" that is just way cool hon...wonderful write as always from your pen! beautiful take care. amy "you can't stop |
