To be or Not to Be a Clone

tell me
do you know
does a clone
have to eat?

would the day
be won
without a repast
repeat?

would a clone
need rest,
a place to lay
her head?
would a clone
need shelter
to keep from
being dead?

I mean
if a clone
divided
earned me money
by the score,
would I have
to share it
and remain so-
just as poor?

or could it be
that two
could live
as cheaply
as one
like a BOGO fest
in our local
market's fun?

I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Virginia,

i don't know the answers either..i guess i won't mind a clone myself if he gets to develop his own interests and personality...though it may be hard seeing an ugly me in my face all the time..

BOGO fest? er, what's that?

Safeway Super Market is always having a BOGO sale. It's an acronym for "Buy one get one" free. :O}

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
