                                       The Dreamer’s Dance

‘Twas but his hand, his to beckon

Her to a lighter stance

Trusting her right, She would reckon

To chance this glorious dance

Keeper of all thy angels’ song,

Sprinkle thy comfort of night so long

                                       Dance around thy dreams desire

And seek ye yet thy steady fires,

Behold thy stars glow so bright

Where steady rocks this private night,

Touch me lightly with thine eyes,

Then swift upon thy high moon’s rise

Stroke those places of deepest need

Drop again man’s greatest greed

Borrow soul's voice to set in jewels

As around thy neck a fine chain tooled

~*~

She dallied and she played away

But upon these dreams came sorrow

And lonely, oh so lonely still

She woke alone upon thy morrow,

~*~

For borrow did she and set in jewels

Around her neck, a fine chain, tooled.

Lady darling girl again your writing is outstandingly beautiful in its form it’s utterly utterly breathtaking in its beauty. Your heart is truly in this, I love it utterly utterly. Sometimes I swear you write with starlight, this is one of those times. I wonder from whence came these words of finest flow that trickle through this delight with pure wonder. Obviously they came from within a mind of sparkling dreams

Absolutely beautiful writing darling I love the growth of you. Perfect darling heart utterly utterly perfect. And yes I love it utterly

Love and warm stuff

Lady, do you have any idea just how lovely this is?  It's as delicate as a rose petal and has the same effect upon my senses.  It's mine, I'm keeping it.

Normally, I have a problem with old english.
It's very difficult to do well, but this is gorgeous. I liked very much the stand out stanza format too. Effective in leading the mind to "bounce"...

and the metaphors make me smile secret smiles.
