I wrote this for a friend named Steve who is a divorcee.His daughter is best friends with my daughter Elysa and he also has a younger daughter.He only sees his girls every second weekend and I have always admired the love and mutual devotion I see when they are together.He would do anything for his girls and I just wanted to let him know how I felt.

* * * * *

They are the apple of your eye
Such deep devotion warm and true
For these two girls of yours
There is nothing you wouldn't do

When I see them in your presence
Their smiles outshine the sun
So very obvious it is to everyone
That their Dad is number one

So much warmth and admiration
And so very easy it is to see
These feelings of love are mutual
As you thrive in each others company

* * * * *

On the day I gave this poem to Steve he told
me he had been feeling a little down and
that my words really brightened up his day.
He paid me the ultimate compliment.

I can tell by your words you are a warm and caring friend, very lovely tribute to someone who obviously is a great dad.

Im glad you made his day..my son  years ago only could see his son every two weeks..and it was sad because he wanted to see him more often..life is strange..some mothers want the dads to stop by more often..and the ones who want to are denied the privilege..nicely done Sue..hugs

(big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I am not suprised at all that this brightened up his day, for you are a true angel and wherever you go you always inspire and bring smiles to others as you always give me! (kiss on cheek) He is a true angel, sweet friend, may him and his daughters always love each other and share many happy memories together, I wish there could be more daddys like him in the world today, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue:  Very compassionate and understanding poem.  I'm glad that it made Steve feel better.  Maybe he'll gain more time with his daughters, since they love each other so much.
