You're not worth the candle. Not worth its wick. Not worth its smoke. Not worth wax stick. You're not worth the sunsets. Not worth gold coasts. Not worth green treelines. Not worth rained roads. You're not worth the quiet. Not worth snow dark. Not worth this shiver. You're not worth my heart. |

Well that's quite the A...kicking piece of poetry.....It's probably so very true. I enjoyed so many of the lines....snow dark....that's good! |

Thank you. It's not so much that I'm in a negative mood as much as the challenge -- to incorporate "Not worth the candle" in the poem -- is implicitly a negative phrase. So I went off with that. |

(sigh) Wow, I can feel such frustration and seriousness in these words, sweet friend, I too got that same impression that you are not necessarily in a bad mood right now but just this is a negative reaction many can relate to! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Glad you all enjoyed. Not! (hmm... that attempt at humor proved something to me: 'deer I most definitely ain't!) Oh, and SEA -- I replied, trumpets blazing. [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (05-06-2002 01:34 PM).] |
