So much sadness pours through my soul sometimes with feelings I can't explain floating in hollow, visits from emptiness emotions over ridden with lasting pain. Again my sorrow seems carried on the breeze wind chimes blowing the tales of my time aloneness again from mind to quill my epitath of words written in rhyme. Endlessly searching to reach that plateau where yesterday and tomorrow might meet when the light dawns on the new horizon and sorrow finally makes it lasting retreat. Like a red brick, in a white wall somebodies brush forgot to paint... lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..) [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (05-02-2002 10:08 PM).] |

As sadness is another beautiful part of our humanity, you have written a tribute worthy of the depth of soul. ThisDiamond |

GentleSpirit~ I felt a gentle uplifting for you with these thoughts - 'when the light dawns on the new horizon and sorrow finally makes it lasting retreat.' Stretch for that horizon, hon~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I think we are given the feelings of sadness for a reason, and that is to experience joy more fully. I can sure identify with your poem as I ride a roller coaster of feelings and have my entire life, but I have learned to the waves, and eventually the sun shines. May you feel the warmth of the sunshine soon. Imagination is more important that knowledge |
