Sun withered hands upon the page
as words of love fall into eyes
Once the rout and the word of sage
a softness felt of trembling sighs

Tear of eyes fall freely of sight
into darkness of never more
Watchful in hope of brightest light
as time and waves crash sandy shore

The steps of one now fading fast
as tide takes love from yawning breach
Love's timeless walk now in the past
as winds flow high and steal from speech

Whisper of wind’s call turns an eye
toward the hill upon the dunes
as stars burn holes into dark sky
and whistles play between two loons

Two hands once held now feel the cold
of chill into the wane of night
Lone love’s reveal secrets not told
as hungry gulls take into flight.

A barren shore beyond the dunes
as penned upon the written page
in wait of love’s soft flowing tunes
when curtain shows once more the stage

(sigh) Encore, encore!!! This is a wonderful melodramatic view of a heart yearning for stillness which is finally greeted with the crashing of raptures waves, sweet friend, I love it! (big hugggssssss) This is absolutely wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
