I feel like a puppet. That's on display, Or a marrionette, That can't get away. So when the puppeteer pulls, I dance and sing. Until my conscience dulls, As I folllow the string. I'm stuck in this place, With no where to go. With a mask over my face, As I'm part of this show. I can't seem to escape, This cherade that I'm in. But how do i get out, And where should I begin. I hide all my feelings, So that they never show. And the bitterness inside me, I simply let grow. Until it becomes unbearable, And theres nothing to do. But to try to end this play, That all my life Ive been trough. I'll start a knew life, With no end in sight, And wont have to worry, About whats wrong and right. No one telling what to do, Or who i'm supposed to be, I don't have to hide myself, So others can't see. For now, and only now, I can truly be ME! |

my sentiments exactly......go for it! Cut those puppet strings and dance on your own! Great thoughts, and enjoyed much! The music is playing...the dance begins |
